Chintan Patel, our Partner and Technology Guru comes with over 15 years of experience as a Computer Scientist and Biomedical Informatician. Chintan co-founded Applied Informatics Inc. and is responsible for all things tech and geek. An expert in software architecture, semantic technologies, biomedical ontologies, machine learning and natural language processing, Chintan previously, worked at IBM’s T.J. Watson Research, on ontology-reasoning and information extraction that then became the infamous Jeopardy winning AI software “Watson”. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics from Columbia University.
